A bit of a fall
I apologise for a small hiatus in the blog / articles. Think skiing, fall, crack, surgeon’s knife, crutches, and that is where I am.
So time of reflection. Sometimes it is good to step away from the busy noise of life and allow oneself to evaluate where you are, what you value and where you would like to be. For the moment I have time to chew the cud, to ponder, to smell the roses – and to be. All of which I am trying actively to do.
And to learn. That is the inspirational thing: we never stop learning. Life has a habit of sending a bit of a challenge from time to time – something to get your attention. You might not like it but you can learn from it. Turn whatever it is upside down, look at it from a different perspective, what is good about it, laugh , cry with it if you want and really look at what you can learn . You’d be surprised – it could lead to positive change, it could slow you down, it could point you in a different direction, it could show you what is important in your life.
And remember there is no such thing as failure, only opportunities. If you don’t take risks, you don’t learn and if you don’t learn, you don’t grow.
Snow drops show their happy faces in the snow. It’s spring – or will be soon – a time to grow, to grow towards the sun.
I get knocked down. But I get up again. You’re never going to keep me down.” – Chumbawamba
